For deficiency in the Middle Jiao (Spleen and Stomach) with symptoms such as loose stools, diarrhea, fatigue, shortness of breath, sallow complexion, and lowered appetite.
Dries Dampness, Moves and Transforms Water Accumulation
For Edema caused by Spleen Qi Deficiency where the Spleen fails to transform and transport water and dampness accumulates.
Strengthens the Wei Qi and Stops Sweating
For spontaneous sweating caused by Qi Deficiency.
Stabilizes Pregnancy and Calms the Fetus
For Restless Fetus Syndrome caused by lack of nutrition to the fetus caused by Spleen Qi Deficiency.

5-15 grams

Bai Zhu should be combined cautiously with the appropriate herbs for treating Yin Deficiency with heat and fluid deficiency.
Do not use in cases where Qi Stagnation manifests as a feeling of oppression or distension.
