Domestic Shipping
FREE SHIPPING WITHIN AUSTRALIA ABOVE $150 AUD (excl GST)
Empirical Health Pty Ltd offers free shipping on all AUS domestic retail orders above $150 AUD (excl GST) placed via our website, with no minimum order sizes or special exceptions.
Free shipping doesn't mean it should take a long time. Empirical Health Pty Ltd understands that getting your items quickly is important to you, so we make every effort to process your order quickly. When you order from our website, we aim to post your order within 1-2 business days.
Once your order has been shipped, regular shipping timeframes can be from 5 -10 days, while express shipping timeframes can be between 2 - 5 days. These timeframes are just a guide as we cannot guarantee how it will travel on route.
International Shipping
We ship worldwide. International shipping rates are calculated by parcel size and weight, and shown at checkout.
United States Orders (DDP – Duties & Taxes Prepaid)
Due to changes in U.S. customs regulations effective 29 August 2025, all shipments to the United States must have duties and tariffs prepaid prior to entry.
- To comply, all U.S. orders will be shipped under DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) terms.
- This is collected by us on behalf of the customer to cover U.S. import duties, tariffs, and associated government-mandated customs clearance charges that are outside of our control.
- Customers will not need to make additional duty payments to U.S. Customs on delivery, as these will already have been collected and remitted.
All Other International Orders (DAP – Duties & Taxes Not Included)
For all countries outside the U.S.:
- Orders are shipped under DAP (Delivered at Place) terms.
- This means you will not pay Australian GST at checkout, but your local customs authorities may apply import duties, tariffs, and/or local taxes upon arrival.
- These costs are not included in your purchase price and are the responsibility of the customer.
- Customers must be aware of and comply with their country’s importation processes and legislation. If required, you are responsible for arranging customs documentation.
- If your order is held or seized by customs, you must liaise directly with your local authorities and follow their instructions.
- Once in-country, the recipient must liaise directly with customs, duty, clearance, and local postal authorities.
Local Postal Authority & Last-Mile Delivery
Once an international parcel arrives in the destination country, it is transferred from Australia Post (or our selected carrier) to the local postal authority, who becomes the responsible delivery carrier.
At this stage:

- We cannot change delivery instructions (including concierge delivery, delivery to third parties, or alternate drop-off locations).
- Only the recipient can request redelivery, authorise collection, or provide delivery preferences, as identity verification is required by most national postal networks.
- Local postal carriers may redirect parcels to collection or retention points (such as post offices, lockers, concierge-restricted facilities or parcel shops). These decisions are made by the local carrier and are outside our control.
- We cannot change delivery instructions (including concierge delivery, delivery to third parties, or alternate drop-off locations).
Failure to collect parcels within the timeframe set by the local carrier may result in fees, return to sender, or disposal, for which Empirical Health Pty Ltd is not responsible, please refer to our refund policy.
If the recipient requires assistance locating documentation or tracking information to communicate with their postal authority, we will do our best to support them from our side.
Empirical Health Pty Ltd takes no legal or financial responsibility for customers who do not comply with their local import processes, requirements or fail to provide the necessary documentation. If unsure, please consult your local postal and customs authorities prior to ordering.
Premium Courier Options
If you require coordinated concierge delivery, signed handover, door-to-door service, or the ability for the sender to control delivery instructions, please contact us before placing your order.
We can assist with courier services such as FedEx, which may offer more flexible last-mile solutions. Additional costs apply.
Insurance & Tracking
A tracking number will be provided to keep your shipment as safe as possible until it reaches your destination.
Force Majeure
We are not responsible for any delay, suspension, or failure to deliver orders caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to war, armed conflict, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, sanctions, transport or carrier disruptions, port or airspace closures, natural disasters, pandemics, or infrastructure failures.
If such events affect shipping to certain regions, we may delay, suspend, or cancel affected orders.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep customers informed of significant disruptions but are not liable for delays caused by third-party carriers or government authorities.
