Fu Zi Li Zhong Wan - 160 HONEY PEARLS / 100 GRAMS

This traditional recipe is now obtainable in its original form in contemporary clinics around the globe. It is a tried and true herbal remedy with centuries of successful results in essential health and well-being.

Originally known as a "Honey Pill", at Empirical Health prefer the term "Honey Pearl". This name reflects the dedication of time and effort invested in crafting a distinctive and valuable pearl, in keeping with the traditions of classical texts.

Fu Zi Li Zhong Wan is Li Zhong Wan plus Fu Zi. Fu Zi is strongly warming and tonifying of the Yang.

Fu Zi Li Zhong Wan has been shown to influence Ghrelin, a peptide that plays multiple roles in thermogenesis. In a study on rats with hypothermia, hypothyroid and indigestion, use of Fu Zi Ling Zhong Wan alongside a higher intake of fat, regulated both Ghrelin release and thyroid hormones.
Li Zhong Wan alone has demonstrated an increase in the levels of antioxidant enzymes in gastric tissue, has an anti-inflammatory effect, and may also play a role in ameliorating the gut wall.

Highest Grade Herbs

After each individual ingredient has passed our rigourous three tier testing policy, it is then carefully prepared according to the classical texts before forming into our wonderful and unique honey pearls. We are fanatic when it comes to correct species identification, correct dose and administration of these ancient formulas we are reviving for the modern world.

Traditional Understanding

Our honey pearls are raw, unique, and based on a 2000 year old preparation method that optimises the absorption of herbal medicine. By making our formulas into Honey Pearls, the active constituents of the ingredients are absorbed slowly and gradually over time, making them highly bioavailable and slow to release. The strength of our formulas is therefore in the delivery. We call this real deal herbalism!
